Workshop Day is an in-person event hosted on campus for women students in STEM who want to develop their employability skills for an upcoming co-op/internship/job. Students who attend the event will learn how to brand themselves to potential employers and how to make their resumes stand out from the crowd. This is a hands-on, interactive workshop, and attendees will be asked to bring their updated CVs and LinkedIn profiles on a laptop or printed. Attendees will leave the event with:
1. An updated CV,
2. An updated LinkedIn profile,
3. Worksheets and key takeaways with all of the information shared, and
4. A certificate of Workshop Day completion.
Workshop Day is part of Carleton University’s Faculty of Engineering and Design’s Women in Engineering & IT (WiE&IT) Program and is brought to you through a partnership with CAE and Gastops.
