If a colleague seemed to be experiencing some difficult times, would you know how to support them? Do you know what mental health supports are available for staff and faculty? Would you feel comfortable speaking with a colleague about their well-being while also knowing the boundaries around the support you could offer? This virtual workshop on Supporting a Colleague provides some tips and resources for how to proceed when you are concerned about a colleague. Using the 4R model, we discuss how to Recognize, Respond, Refer and Reflect when a colleague is struggling.

Registration is available through Carleton Central. Under the Employee Services tab, click on Learning and Professional Development, then select Workshop Registration and followed by All Workshops. More information will be sent to you via email closer to the session date.
