Please join us for a brown bag event featuring Ajoy Chakrabarti, currently Portfolio & Platform Lead, Polio at Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
Ajoy Chakrabarti did his undergraduate studies at Carleton University (BSc. Biochemistry & MSc.), received his PhD (Biochemistry) from the University of British Columbia and his MBA from Cornell. He has over 20 years of diverse product development experience in both pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. He joined the Gates Foundation in 2016, working across multiple polio vaccine programs to provide strategic guidance and product development expertise as part of the global effort to eradicate polio. He spent the prior eight years leading cross-functional development teams working on anthrax therapeutics and vaccines, as well as nerve agent antidotes prior to joining the Foundation. His experience on the commercial side of pharma while at Bristol-Myers Squibb including working in marketing, portfolio management, decision analysis and forecasting.
