About this Event

Host Organization: Political Science

As most of us know, the current elections for the Presidency, US House and 34 Senate seats on November 8 is the strangest one in recent memory. Political Science Professors Melissa Haussman, Mira Sucharov, Randall Germain and Bill Cross will highlight different aspects of the election campaign to date, including: foreign-policy concerns, questions of core support for Hillary in 2008 vs. now, and questions of anti-immigration sentiments as expressed by Donald Trump and how they dovetail with some Canadian politicians’ public statements. Donald Trump may say and do many more things in the next week so be prepared for even more unexpected events and interesting discussion points!
All are welcome.

Sponsored by the Bell Chair in Canadian Parliamentary Democracy.
