On Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 7:00 PM EDT via Zoom, Sheri Kapahnke, a maritime archeologist, will give a talk on her experiences exploring artifacts underwater. Performing archaeology under water is a fairly recent method of studying the ancient world, one that has allowed us to uncover artifacts unseen on terrestrial sites, illuminate a larger variety of ancient lives, and develop new perspectives for understanding interactions between peoples.
