Please join Professor Mandla Makhanya, principal and vice-chancellor of the University of South Africa (Unisa), for a special session on Trends and Threats in Online Learning: An International Perspective.

In this one hour special briefing and question and answer session, Professor Makhanya will share his insights and exchange ideas with participants on: the major trends and threats in online learning; Africa’s successes and milestones in online learning; what other jurisdictions, including Canada, can learn from Africa; and implications for students, faculty, administrators and policy makers.

The event will start with a light breakfast and networking session from 9:30-10 a.m., followed by the presentation and Q&A from 10-11 a.m.
