Members of the Carleton community are invited to the inaugural Carleton Leader Community event of the year - The Power of Leadership, Through Connection and Community – a thought-provoking opportunity to reconnect as a campus community and explore the potential for leadership that extends from me, to we, to us.
Join two esteemed faculty in management and leadership, Professor Ian Sutherland, Dean of the School of Music at Memorial University, and Professor Jonathan Gosling, Emeritus Professor of Leadership Studies at the University of Exeter, as they engage us in an experience of the power of leadership in creating connection, empowering community and shared purpose.
Using a musical ensemble as a metaphor, the duo will host an interactive conversation about the intersection of music and business and the “part” we all play in taking a leadership role to write Carleton’s next chapter. As we work together to engage our community in a broad and consultative strategic planning process, leadership at all levels is incredibly important. Everyone in the Carleton community has an important part to play in adding their voice to Carleton’s next strategic plan.
