About this Event

Host Organization: Faculty Research Facilitators (FASS, FPA, Sprott)

The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council’s Insight Research program supports research that builds knowledge and understanding about people, societies and the world by supporting research excellence in all subject areas eligible for SSHRC funding.

This information session is for faculty members who are considering submitting an application to either the SSHRC Insight Grant or Insight Development Grant in the next year. The session will provide an overview of: a) the program objectives; b) the application components, and strategies for developing a competitive proposal; and c) the evaluation criteria. We will also hear key tips from researchers who have successfully applied for Insight and Insight Development Grants and/or participated in an evaluation committee.
