Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Insight Development Grants support research in its initial stages and are valued at $7000 - $75,000 for a project duration of 1-2 years. The anticipated deadline for the next competition is February 2, 2024.

This information session will provide an overview of: a) the program objectives; b) the application components, and strategies for developing a competitive proposal; and c) the evaluation criteria. We will also hear key tips from researchers who have successfully applied for Insight Development Grants and/or participated in an evaluation committee.
