About this Event
Host Organization: Faculty Research Facilitators (FASS, FPA, Sprott)
This interactive workshop will cover best practices for developing research partnerships in the arts, social sciences, humanities and business with a particular focus on SSHRC programming available to support such partnerships.
We will discuss partnerships in general, partnership engagement – meaningful relationships, contributions, tangible benefits, team dynamics, and type and scope of projects.
We will also provide information about what kinds of projects are most competitive under the Partnership Engage (PEG), Partnership Development (PDG) and the Partnership (PG) Grants, how to prepare a competitive funding application in support of your partnership; and an opportunity to meet other researchers across campus who are engaged or interested in community-based and partnership-type research.
The information session will also feature comments from previous adjudicators and grant holders in the SSHRC partnership programs.
