The 3rd Annual Psychology Undergraduate Research Event (PURE 2014) provides an opportunity for over 170 fourth-year honours students to share their capstone research via poster presentations. We invite you to attend this celebration of student achievement.
Two groups of students will be presenting:
Thesis students will display their posters from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. These students complete a research study, which typically involves a literature review, data collection and analysis, and the preparation of a substantial paper.
Project students will display their posters from 12:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. These students enrol in a seminar and participate in a variety of learning activities (e.g., essays, briefing notes, presentations) that are focused on an area of psychological research.
Learn more about the research being conducted by our students. Meet and mingle with members of the Department of Psychology. Refreshments (and prizes!) will be served.
