One out of 10 Canadians have diabetes. Add to that number the people who have pre diabetes and you have a nation at risk. The good news is that diabetes isn’t inevitable. People with prediabetes can cut their odds of getting the disease by nearly 60% through changes to diet and activity patterns. Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator Cindy Sass will be joining us to discuss foods and eating strategies that can lower the risk of developing diabetes.
