This conference, co-sponsored by The Centre for Studies in Poverty and Social Citizenship, the Faculty of Public Affairs, Canadian Association for Work and Labour Studies, the Institute of Political Economy and the School of Social Work, features a keynote address by the Institute’s of Political Economy's visiting professor Meg Luxton of York University. This all-day conference brings together faculty, students, activists and organizers to discuss the problems of food security, housing, income, caregiving, and the struggles of indigenous people, in everyday life.
