MindBridge, the leader in AI-powered financial decision intelligence, is launching a Data Science Challenge in partnership with Carleton University. Aimed at fostering the next generation of data scientists, the competition invites graduate and undergraduate students in a technical discipline (e.g., data science, computer science, science, engineering) to solve a real-world financial analytics problem using advanced techniques in data science and artificial intelligence.

Challenge Details:

Eligibility: Open to all data science, science, computer science, engineering graduate and undergraduate students from Carleton University.
Start Date & Lecture: Wednesday, May 28, 2025 in Tory Building Room 340 at 1:00 p.m. (This is a hybrid event which will be available in person and online).
Duration of the challenge: 8 weeks
Submission Deadline: Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.
Winners Announced: Wednesday, August 6, 2025

Submissions will be evaluated based on performance, creativity and innovation, as well as communication and presentation. Top entries will receive the following awards:

Winners will also be offered guaranteed interviews for a paid internship at MindBridge in Ottawa, Ontario.
