While we all intuitively know that it takes time, work and planning to foster a productive learning community, we might not always apply that same understanding when it comes to building our teaching teams with our TAs. And yet building a strong, united teaching team is an equally worthwhile endeavour in that it can help you, as the instructor, to streamline communications with students, equalize assessment and feedback, and minimize unwanted surprises.
