This presentation focuses on the influence of Jain philosophy and principles on the thoughts and actions of Gandhi. In order to provide a proper context, a description is provided of the Jain principles and how Gandhi came to be influenced by them. Brief comments are offered on the relevance of the shared thoughts of Gandhi and the Jain tradition to the world today.
