This is the story of the search for the enormous treasure that was meant to be used as payment for the resuce of the last Inca emperor, Atahualpa. After the unexpected murder of the emperor, in Cajamarca in 1533, the ransom gold was never given to the Spaniards and, according to a legend, was hidden as revenge in an inaccessible area of southern Ecuador, between the Andes and the Amazon, known as the "Llanganati". This documentary narrates an expedition led by the Ecuadorian adventurer and photographer Jorge Juan Anhalzer to the heart of Llanfanati. The purpose of this expedition is to check whether an old map that supposedly leads to Atahualpa's treasure is real or not. This is a documentary that offers splendid aerial and panoramic images of Ecuador.
