The Jean Monnet Network on EU-Canada Relations presents a public lecture, “What came out of COP 27? Implications for Europe, Canada, and the Globe” with Prof. Dr. Miranda Schreurs, Technical University of Munich.

The presenter will examine what the main goals going into COP 27 were, what the main points of debate and discussion were, and what the outcomes of the negotiations mean for our ability to stay within a 1.5 degree C world. It will also consider greenhouse gas emission trends and the policies and programs of major actors.
