Dr. Kemal Kirişci, TÜSİAD Senior Fellow and Director of Turkey Project, The Brookings Institution, will discuss developments in Turkey beginning with the Helsinki Summit in December 1999 when EU leaders finally recognised Turkey as a candidate for EU entry to the upcoming 2019 elections in Turkey. His most recent book, “Turkey and the West: Faultlines in a Troubled Alliance,” was published by the Brookings Institution Press in November 2017.

This event is free and open to the public. Please note: Campus is accessible but may be delayed if arriving by personal vehicle.
