This information session is geared towards faculty members who are considering submitting a SSHRC Insight Grant (IG) in the upcoming October 2023 competition.
Our session will provide a brief introduction to the SSHRC IG program, discuss the evaluation criteria and adjudication process; and highlight some tips on what makes a competitive SSHRC IG application. A panel of Carleton faculty members who have sat on a SSHRC IG peer review committee and/or been successful at securing a recent SSHRC IG will share their experiences with the audience as well as field questions.
