Our monthly Beginners’ meeting is open to all: students, staff, and faculty. Got a new iPad? Or just need a refresher?

Learning Objectives

Beginner session 1 on Apr 15, we’ll re-start our 3-session Beginner’s series with:

  • learning iPad Debugging techniques and when to use them: including terminating background apps, rebooting your iPad, and force-rebooting your iPad if it ever “hangs”;
  • learning how to lock the screen orientation of your iPad;
  • organizing the apps on your iPad, including deleting, re-arranging across screens, and creating folders;
  • securing your iPad with a password, while avoiding being re-prompted for it every time your iPad sleeps.

Remember to bring your iPad or iPhone, if you have one – otherwise come anyway and we’ll find you someone to share with!
