Host Organization: CU@Kanata
As part of Ottawa Innovation Week, CU@Kanata invites industry professionals, community members, students, and researchers from across the region to a focused morning of expert talks and networking exploring the topic of nature-based and microbial innovations for urban pollution remediation. Discover the latest advances in microplastics removal from stormwater and the transformative potential of microbial communities in environmental remediation.
Featuring lightning talks by Dr. Jennifer Drake (Civil & Environmental Engineering) and Dr. Allyson Brady (Biology), this event offers a unique opportunity to engage with cutting-edge research and forge new collaborations at the intersection of engineering, biology, and sustainability.
The talks will be followed by an interactive Q&A session and dedicated networking time, providing space for collaboration and discussion among innovators, academics, and community stakeholders.
Light refreshments will be provided. This event is open to all—come be part of Ottawa Innovation Week and join the conversation!
