On behalf of the Institute of European Russian and Eurasian studies (EURUS) and the Department of Political Science, please join us Wednesday November 18, 2015 for our special seminar: “Impressions from Valdai: Russian domestic and foreign policy in perspective”. Russian experts Dr. Piotr Dutkiewicz and Dr. Nikolai Zlobin will explore key themes in Russia’s domestic and foreign policy discourse, drawing on their thoughts and impressions fresh from attending the 12th annual meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club.
Speakers: Dr. Nikolai Zlobin is a well-known Russian-American political expert, journalist, and scholar. He has lived between Moscow and Washington for 20 years. He is the founder and president of the Center on Global Interests in Washington, D.C (2012), and has taught at Harvard, Stanford, and Georgetown. Dr. Zlobin has authored 23 books and more than 250 academic articles on policy, history and international security, published in 17 languages.
