More Information: Please click here for additional details.

Join the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences for a series of expert panels to explore the many factors – from nature and housing to climate and art – that make a healthy city.

The latest Healthy Cities panel is titled "Our Built Environment" and will address, among other things, the following themes:

• Community in space: how design and spatial planning facilitates (or prevents) contact, connection and synergies.
• Community in time: the potentially positive contribution of historic architecture in a community.
• Aspiration: the standards we set for built projects, and the consequences when those standards are not high enough.
