Host Organization: READ Initiative

Former Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, the Hon. David C. Onley has been named by the Province as the third independent reviewer of the AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.) The review is currently underway and will conclude in early October.
Carleton’s READ Initiative (Research, Education, Accessibility and Design) is proud to host a public consultation for Eastern Ontario residents to meet the Reviewer on the afternoon of August 27, 2018.
The Reviewer will hold a public consultation session at Carleton University in Ottawa on Monday, August 27, 2018, from 2:00 – 5:00 pm in Room 2224 on the 2nd floor of the Richcraft Building.
Interested individuals and groups are invited to participate in a discussion addressing the following:
What you like about the AODA.
What you don’t like about the AODA.
What you would change.
Further information on the opportunities to make a formal presentation are available on the registration page.
