In celebration of our beloved colleague, mentor, teacher and friend, Prof. Pius Adesanmi, Carleton University along with the Institute of African Studies, the Department of English, and the Department of French are holding a Festival of Life at the Carleton Dominion Chalmers Centre (355 Cooper St, Ottawa, ON, K2P 0G8) on Tuesday March 26, 2019, at 5:30 pm for members and friends of the Carleton community.

The event will feature music, readings and speeches from the Carleton community which will celebrate and pay tribute to the extraordinary life of Professor Pius Adesanmi. Members of the greater Ottawa community are also invited.

For those unable to attend, the Festival of Life celebration will be recorded and posted to the Institute of African Studies website shortly after proceedings have wrapped.
