The Centre for European Studies is pleased to present as part of its Current Events Series "Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in the EU-Russian Energy Dialogue" featuring visiting scholar Dr. Anatole Boute

This lecture will focus on his research on EU-Russian renewable energy relations. In particular, the session will explore the Russian perspective to the de-carbonization of energy supply and the role of the EU in this regard.

Anatole Boute is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Aberdeen and Legal Advisor to the IFC Russia Renewable Energy Program (The World Bank Group). His research interests include liberalization of electricity and natural gas markets, promotion of renewable energy sources for electricity and heat production, investment protection in the energy sector, climate change law and energy efficiency.
