The evening will include a light reception, welcome remarks by representatives of the Economics Chapter, Dean of the Faculty of Public and Global Affairs, and the Chair of the Department of Economics, and keynote remarks by esteemed economist Christina Caron.
Christina Caron’s career as an economist and executive has included positions in the federal public service, four think tanks, the British Embassy in Washington, D.C., and the offices of two Canadian Prime Ministers and a federal Cabinet Minister. She is the author of a number of publications on labour markets, incomes, productivity and technology.
