The core mission of the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) is to rescue stranded motorists and save lives. Protecting over 2.6 million Members, between 3,200 and 5,500 rescues occur each day. These rescues are made possible with machine-learning algorithms, which help to predict the precise location of breakdowns.

Carleton University’s Institute for Data Science (CUIDS) is honoured to welcome CAA President and CEO, Jay Woo, and CAA Director, Emergency Roadside Systems, Lena Yam, for an overview of Geo-Temporal Gen 2, technology CAA developed to help accurately and precisely help to save lives.
