Author Meets Readers invites Carleton students and the community to join an informal discussion on new books published by members of the Carleton University Faculty of Public Affairs.
About the Book:
This edited volume focuses on concepts and their role in the evolution of modern environmental policy, with case studies of eleven influential concepts ranging from “environment” to “sustainable consumption.”
The Editor:
James Meadowcroft is a Professor in both the School of Public Policy and Administration and in the Department of Political Science. His research is focused on the ways in which governments are adjusting their practices and policies in order to cope with the emergence of problems of the environment and sustainable development. Meadowcroft shares editing credit on this book with Daniel J. Fiorino.
