The Commuter Challenge is a week-long event during Canadian Environment Week (May 31- June 6, 2015). It is a friendly competition between Canadian cities and workplaces that encourages Canadians to leave their cars at home. It rewards walking, cycling, carpooling/ride-sharing, taking transit and telecommuting and celebrates active and sustainable transportation.
How it works
- You register yourself any time before the end of the challenge and join our team “Carleton University”
- You walk, cycle, carpool, take transit or telecommute during the event week
- To be included in the final results you need to make at least one sustainable commute during Commuter Challenge week; of course you can commute sustainably every day :-)
Registration and logging will be accepted until Wednesday, June 10, 2015
Join our team and help us support active and sustainable commuting!
