Take control of your money this Financial Literacy Month!
The first step in managing your money is creating a budget a sticking to it. This isn't always easy when we're exposed to thousands of advertisements on a daily basis. Marketing messages tell us consumption will lead to satisfaction, But the truth is, when we buy items that we don't need or even truly want, we lose out on money, space and our happiness.
Join us for a lunch-time conversation with Gary Rusyn from the Credit Counselling Society where we'll cover how to:
-Distinguish wants from needs
-Align your spending with your values
-Curb impulse spending
-Become a smart and savvy shopper
-Avoid scams and fraud
-Pizza lunch will be provided. Registration is required as space is limited.
