Carleton University’s Research, Education, Accessibility and Design (READ) Initiative will welcome Stéphane Lauzon, parliamentary secretary to the Minister of Sport and Persons With Disabilities, and Universities Canada to announce the launch of a new government funded program on innovation and accessibility.

• Stéphane Lauzon, parliamentary secretary to the Minister of Sport and Persons With Disabilities;
• Suzanne Blanchard, Carleton University vice-president (Students and Enrolment);
• Philip Landon, vice-president of Universities Canada;
• Mojtaba Ahmadi, of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering;
• Bjarki Hallgrimsson, of the School of Industrial Design
• Adrian Chan, Carleton Department of Systems and Computer Engineering
The event will include an expert lecture on the topic of innovation and accessibility by Carleton Profs. Mojtaba Ahmadi, of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Bjarki Hallgrimsson, of the School of Industrial Design, and Adrian Chan of the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering.
