About this Event
Host Organization: Carleton University Alumni Association
Join our free virtual event on Saturday, April 11th, at 9:20am HKT to connect with the Canadian community in Hong Kong and others in Canada. Everyone is welcome to join!
As we are all in this COVID-19 battle together, we each need to overcome this pandemic by working as one team. The purpose of this event, Canadians #StrongerTogether, is an opportunity for Canadians to come together to show our solidarity in fighting the virus. This is also a way to show our support to healthcare workers by staying home and staying healthy. We invite everyone to join us online for this free hour-long family friendly event to connect, share stories and workout together in the comfort of our own homes.
We are excited to have Mr. Jeff Nankivell, Consul General, Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong and Macao to kick off this online gathering; followed by a warm welcome from our friends across Canada, sharing light hearted stories, then a “virtual group photo”. For the highlight of this event, we’ll have Utah Lee, Nike Training Master, to lead us through a 20-minute energetic and heart-pumping workout session.
