The Canada/China Housing Workshop is intended to foster dialogue between Canada and China on a range of issues related to housing. Notwithstanding the difference in economic and political contexts, both countries depend heavily on the private sector to produce housing and on development to fund urban infrastructure.
The workshop will compare challenges, issues, policies, strategies, and incentives as well as identify best practices. It presents a unique and important opportunity for exchange. The one-day workshop will be structured into four, moderated panel discussions, drawing on the expertise of subject-matter experts from both countries.
