All People All Pathways peer support meetings are back at Carleton! There are 2 weekly meetings, for staff and students, respectively. They are held virtually, through the Zoom platform.

All People All Pathways is provided through continued partnership with the Community Addictions Peer Support Association (CAPSA). These meetings are facilitated by persons with lived and living experiences with substance use and addiction. The meetings are non-comital, confidential and do not require attendees to abstain from substances if they so choose. They are for persons directly and indirectly affected by substance use and addiction to share their experiences about what has helped them on their journey and provide a non-judgemental and safe environment for those seeking help to ask questions, free from stigma, alienation or discrimination. All are welcome!

Peer support is just that, a fellow peer offering support in a time of need. Someone who may have a different story to tell, but often experiences the same thoughts and feelings as the individuals they are supporting. Peer facilitators are not experts or counsellors. They are trained to facilitate the meetings in a non-judgmental and safe manner. They are people who understand a lot of what you are feeling because they have personal experiences similar to yours.

These meetings respect anonymity and confidentiality, no personal information will be shared.
