About this Event

Host Organization: Sprott School of Business: Business Career Management Center

As many of you know, the accounting profession is in transition with respect to its designation, the CPA. Students are often confused as to which courses they should be taking to ensure they are in a good position upon graduation to move forward. We are very fortunate at Sprott, to have Professor Jacques Maurice with us to help navigate the changes. Professor Maurice is the former Chair of the CPA Canada Transition Oversight Committee and a former committee member of the CPA Canada Certification Steering Committee. He is thus very knowledgeable on the changes and how they affect accounting students.
Please join Professor Maurice in the River Building as he reviews the CPA changes and provides guidance on course selection for next year. This is a great opportunity to pose questions directly to Professor Maurice. If you are undeclared in your concentration and are considering Accounting, this session may be of interest. Details also on mySprott.

ALL students interested in the CPA track can attend – full-time, special students, part-time, transfer, any Carleton student.

We hope you can join us. Time tickets for second year students and above open June 23.

Registration is NOT required, although for Sprott students, if you register on the career portal, mySprott, you will receive a reminder notice the day before.
