Bio:

Milica Stojmenović’ background is diverse. She has a BSc. in psychology and a minor in statistics (2010), an MA in psychology (2012), and a PhD in Computer Science (2016), all with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction. Her undergraduate research compared different methods for eliciting user requirements for a crisis management decision support system. Extending this project, she examined teamwork and communication among team leaders in a command post in a crisis simulation for her master’s work. For her PhD, Milica examined the impact of expectations formed via biased verbal and textual word-of-mouth on usability and visual appeal, in an unfamiliar website genre. She is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow with Professor Robert Biddle. They are working on web security, examining Extended Validity Certificates for websites.
