Background
In April 2014, the federal government announced the Consortium for Aerospace Research and Innovation in Canada (CARIC). Headquartered in Montreal with regional representation in Halifax, Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg and Vancouver, CARIC aims to develop a national program for industry-academic collaboration in aerospace. In October 2014, the Ontario Aerospace Council (OAC) and Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) partnered in signing an MOU with CARIC to become the deliverer of CARIC programs in Ontario.
Representatives from CARIC, OCE, NSERC, IRAP and GARDN will provide detailed information.
