About this Event

Host Organization: Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre (CDCC)

Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre is home to one of the largest pipe organs in Ottawa, and the Canadian-built organ itself turns 60 years old this year!

Don’t miss the opportunity to hear a rare and awe-inspiring instrument in the historic 1912 Ottawa heritage theatre!

The pipe organ was officially dedicated in April 1965 in loving memory of those who lost their lives while serving in the armed forces. The pipe organ is a majestic instrument with over 5,179 pipes spanning 7 storeys! The building of a pipe organ of this size is an architectural feat – taking the time, dedication and energy of many.

This FREE ticketed concert will feature organist Jennifer Loveless, with special guest Maria Gajraj.
