Get ready for an astronomical series of talks at Carleton University, hosted by the Faculty of Science and Department of Physics! On April 8th, the Moon eclipses the Sun, creating a total solar eclipse. While Ottawa won't experience the full totality, we're turning this cosmic spectacle into a celebration of science!
Join us for an afternoon dedicated to exploring the wonders of our universe. Delve into captivating talks on the cosmos, our solar system, the Sun, the Big Bang, and the marvels of our own planet. Weather permitting, get a close-up view of the Sun through a solar telescope, adding a hands-on element to this stellar event.
More information on our speaker line up coming soon.
