Emanuela Heyninck is in her third term as head of the Pay Equity
Commission for Ontario. The Commission enforces the Ontario Pay
Equity Act, which aims to redress systemic gender compensation issues.
The Commission also undertakes research and makes recommendations
to the Minister of Labour on issues related to pay equity, gender wage
gaps and women and work.
The Commissioner will comment on the state of pay equity, its connection
to the gender wage gap and share her ideas about the workplace of the future.
