In this talk, Dr. Dukes will share her journey as a Black woman in science and discuss her experiences leading diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives as a graduate student and new faculty member. She will also discuss the founding and ongoing efforts of Black In Neuro, an nonprofit organization that supports Black scholars in neuroscience-related fields worldwide.
