The Centre for Monetary and Financial Economics at the Department of Economics (Carleton University) is hosting a paid data science workshop later this month.
• Title: How to Succeed as a Data Scientist in the Private Sector
• Speaker: Nafis Sadat, Senior Data Scientist at Microsoft (BA Economics from Carleton, MA Economics from UBC)
• Date: Friday, April 28, 2023
• Time: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Cost: $100 per person
• Location: in person at Carleton University (location to be announced closer to the day)
• Audience: anyone interested in the field of data science and big data who has intermediate experience with some programming languages (ideally R or Python). Attendees must bring their own laptop with at least 4 cores and 32GB of RAM.
• Registration required.
