Dr. Dan Lyons discusses his ground-breaking book -- The Politics of Animal Experimentation -- which draws on unique primary data relating to primate xenotransplantation experimentation, applies and advances policy network analysis, while assessing the ethics and power distribution in this highly controversial field of public policy.

Bio: Dan Lyons is CEO of the Centre for Animals and Social Justice, a UK-based animal protection research institute, and Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Sheffield's Department of Politics. His awards include the UK Political Studies Association Prize for the best PhD thesis in Government and Public Administration.
