Have you ever wondered what it would be like to play video games outside, projected in epic proportions?
As part of our 75th anniversary celebrations and Canada’s 150th, Carleton is teaming up with Ottawa 2017 to hold a unique event – the Canadian Video Game Competition and Expo – an outdoor gaming competition that will be projected onto a courtyard wall of the Mackenzie Building.
Outdoor gaming takes place at Carleton University on November 13 and 14, MacKenzie Building Courtyard.
Sign-up starts Nov. 13 at 5:00 p.m. Then from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., local companies will showcase their games. The competition itself runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each evening.
This is a great opportunity for students and any other interested gamers from Carleton and the wider community to play the new Super Mario Odyssey game. Top scorers on the first night will be asked back for a showdown on Nov. 14, where they’ll compete for prizes.
PAY PARKING AVAILABLE IN LOTS P18, P5, P1.
See the event website listed above for the full schedule and details.
