The Institute for Comparative Studies in Literature, Art and Culture is delighted to announce that the 2022 Chris Faulkner Lecture in Cultural Mediations will be delivered by Dr. Annette de Stecher from the University of Colorado Boulder. Titled “Wendat Women’s Arts: Indigenous Knowledge and the Academy”, Dr. de Stecher’s lecture will draw from her forthcoming book, Wendat Women’s Arts, to be published in 2022 with McGill-Queen’s University Press. Dr. de Stecher, a doctoral graduate from ICSLAC’s Cultural Mediations program, teaches and publishes in the areas of historical and contemporary Indigenous art histories and critical museology. …
