Throughout the academic term, we are often faced with requests to defer exams and receive extensions on assignments and papers. How do you handle these kinds of requests? What kind of documentation is needed? Is there a ‘better’ way to manage sick notes and deferral requests? Are there ways to set up exams, assignments, and grading policies to minimize the disruption to teaching and learning?
