Mr. Ward Elcock was special advisor to the Privy Council Office and a career public servant. Elcock served as a special advisor on human smuggling and illegal migration. He was Director of CSIS from 1994 to 2004 and deputy minister of National Defence from 2004 to 2007. This free public lecture will be of interest to all especially as we anticipate the Government of Canada's new Defence Policy.
