On Friday, March 27, join faculty from Wilfrid Laurier University for an in-depth discussion about their experiences using active learning classrooms.

Via teleconference, Mercedes Rowinsky (Languages & Literature), Gavin Brockett (History), Edmund Pries (Global Studies) and Ken Maly (Chemistry) will explore what worked for them, what didn’t work and their recommendations for similar rooms at Carleton. The roundtable will wrap up with a question and answer period.

As Carleton prepares to introduce its own active learning classroom, this is the perfect opportunity to learn from other instructors’ experiences and form your own suggestions on what you would like to see deployed in the space.

The roundtable will run from 12-1 p.m. in room 617 Southam Hall. A light lunch will be served.

Spaces are limited, so register today!
